3/27/26, a.k.a. 5/3/85: onion-related

3/27/26

My mom's old neighbor, in the Los Angeles loft she lived in before I was born, put together an 80's-style artist zine full of black and white photographs and writing of all variety. My favorite writing of the bunch is onion-related.

May 3, 1985

Had a dream about planting an onion last night. I planted it because we didn't have any food. So I thought "Onions don't take long to grow and instead of one onion we could have a lot of onions." So I planted the onion.

When everyone saw that I planted it, they all began to yell, at me. I started to cry then, and decided to go get a light to help the onions grow faster.

When I came back there were onion trees everywhere. I had some bullion and I started to make onion soup.

But when everyone saw the onion trees and bullion, they started to argue about how to make onion soup.

I left then to go take a shower.

And then I woke up.
